A.G. in the Star (again)

I got a call from my granddad today telling me my article was in the Star and to go pick up a copy. So I did, I was surprised to find it was a double page spread including a massive picture of my that makes my nose look huge, what do you mean it is huge!? I don’t think I could write 2 pages of myself, so I’m amazed they managed to.

It was a great article, the only things I have to complain about are a couple of misquotes, nothing major. The first was of me trying to explain how I think about making the toys. what I actually said was “You’re basing your work off of a 2D rendering of a 3D object, which is the drawing of what you want the toy to look at. You then create a 2D net that creates a 3D object baring in mind every change to the 2D net changes the 3D object you’re trying to make look like the 2D rendering of the 3D object. But let’s be honest, that would be damn hard to quote.

The second thing is that it says I said I’m making an average wadge, but am hoping to make more…This isn’t the case. I said is “I’m hoping to make an average wadge”. I’m still scraping the bottom of my wallet and living off of pita bread and humus, tomato soup and cereal…and it tastes damn good.

I did my best to take some pictures of the article, I hope the pictures aren’t too blurry.
