It’s been a roller-coaster week and not just because I feel like throwing up now it’s over. Earlier in the week I gave a short talk about myself and what A.G.papertoys is up to to a small crowd of 60. Long story short, I killed they laughed when they where meant to and didn’t shout out “you suck” or throw bottles at me, so that’s good.
I’ve been working like a mad man on the Robot Rumble book (coming out later this year). To meet the crazy deadline I’ve been designing a toy a day, and as you can imagine it’s practically killed me. But the good news is I’ve finished so I’ve taken the day off to regain my energy and creative juices. Admittedly I’m not a big fan of some of the toys in th book, but they would have been better if I was given the time to develop the toys fully rather than going with the first idea I had.
I couldn’t help but feel like a lot of people where stabbing me in the back this week, mainly with people taking my ideas and canceling projects.
But on a brighter not I had a day out at he cinema. I’ve been talking to my newly found friends Rhys and Francesca for over a month now, and I’m working with Rhys on our new youtube project SpaceRejects. But I had never met them face to face. So we organised a cinema trip to get to know one another a little more.
There was only one problem, it was cold, really cold. So braving the snowy weather we went around town and did stuff. Tom and Rhys will most likely be making more appearances on the website in the near future. They’ll no doubt be involved in more media related projects rather than paper projects.
I also met a badger with a fez, it was a strange day.
I’m not really sure what I was meant to be blogging about, I’ve lost my trail of thought (but luckily not my mind).
Maybe it’ll come back to me later.
